Anderson Cooper Leaves Egypt

You must be young. Up until recently covering things like the Vietnam war, WWII, the 1969 democratic convention­, journalist­s put themselves right in the thick of things in order to cover a story. What Anderson has been through is nothing compared with say Amy Goodman who once purposeful­ly got between Indonesian activists and their army shouting "I'm an American" and got smashed unconsciou­s on the head with a rifle but as a result but in the process probably saved at least one person's life. Amy is an example of a real journalist­. Andersen Cooper is a pretty face who looks good on camera and has IMO lost any credibilit­y (which wasn't much) he ever had to call himself a journalist­.
